Final year for the C1 Corvette and not content with giving their sports car a mere facelift before model change, Chevrolet chose this year to add its 327. This rare example has a solid body and frame and has been restored. The optional 300 horse 327 has been completely rebuilt and both engine rebuild and body repaint are recent. NUMBERS MATCHING ENGINE! 1962 was the final year for the C1 Corvette and knowing they had a good thing, Chevrolet was not content with giving their sports car a mere facelift before model change as is so common in the auto industry. Adding a mechanical upgrade held in high regard by car enthusiasts to this day, Chevrolet chose this year to add its stellar 327 smallblock V8 to the Corvette.
