This vintage is quite significant since it brought the end of the first generation (also known as the C1) of Corvettes and the “solid axle”. Also the first year of the 327 engine. This 327 engine still maintains all its shielding, air cleaner and has the seven finned cast alloy valve covers and rechromed bumpers front and rear.
