The Valiant was Plymouth’s entry into the burgeoning compact market and quickly became a big success. The Signet was the upscale version offering nicer trim and a V8 among other equipment and this 1965 model could just be one of rarest cars you will ever see. Offered here is a Valiant Signet convertible with a 273 cubic inch V8 engine featuring factory solid lifter camshaft. The automatic transmission is controlled by an optional floor shifter in a consolette between the bucket seats. The careful restoration shows extensive replating of the chrome and it stands out nicely against the gleaming red paint which is complemented by factory aluminum rocker panel and wheel opening moldings. A black vinyl top with red piping keeps the weather at bay while still looking great. Narrow whitewall tires with optional full wheelcovers and dual exterior mirrors. This Valiant starts with ease and drives reliably leaving you to enjoy your cruise around town in that singular fashion only a convertible can deliver.
