Originally restored in the late 1980’s, the car is a former National Junior and Senior Antique Automobile Club Of America winner. Newer LeBaron Bonney hartz cloth top, wind wings, spotlight and factory radio.
In 1936, only 5,555 Ford Phaeton’s were produced and to find one with its original engine and transmission is nothing short of amazing. Even the rubber covers on the running boards are original to the car and in excellent condition. Originally restored in the late 1980’s, the car is a former National Junior and Senior Antique Automobile Club Of America winner. The car was shown for a number of years and until recently was owned for over 20 years by an AACA member (and owner of a North Carolina classic car restoration shop) who annually toured the car extensively in the southern US. Equipped with newer LeBaron Bonney hartz cloth top, wind wings, spotlight and other rare accessories including factory radio. Updated with electric fuel pump and conveniently located battery shut-off switch by driver’s seat. A proven and reliable tour car that runs whisper quiet and drives beautifully.
