One of Chevrolet’s rarest, yet most desirable of the Tri-Five models is the Bel Air Nomad. A finely trimmed station wagon with the stylish sport design of the two door, long roof. With less than 8,000 Nomad wagons built in 1956, this makes for a scarce Chevrolet today. This example was assembled at the Chevrolet Los Angeles production facility. It was sold new in California where it resided until the late 70’swhen it was brought to Ontario. Once in Canada, it was carefully stored in a climate controlled garage for nearly 40 years before its recent restoration which brought it to show winning condition.
An outstanding vehicle that still boasts all of its original West Coast, corrosion free sheet metal. An incrediby solid, dry example that was refinished in the best colours, and coincidentally the same combination it wore when new. It is Twilight Turquoise over India Ivory with a new and fully corect, stunning interior of the proper turquoise. Restored to near perfection, this Nomad has excptional chrome and stainless trim. A gorgeous Chevrolet that runs and drives as fine as it looks. This is a rare opportunity to secure a true California 1956 Nomad!
