This is an exceptional example of Triumph’s introduction to V8 power. Properly refinished in its factory original colour of Pimento Red with an excellent black bucket interior. This is a stunning, corrosion free car which was sold new in Texas and spent many years in California before making its way to Florida. A recent and professionally replaced high quality black Haartz cloth top covers the passenger compartment but it also comes with the original Pimento Red removable hardtop. Equipped with a 3.0 liter V8 and a four speed manual transmission with electric overdrive. This Triumph has been fully sorted mechanically by its previous and fastidious owner. A passionate car collector who is not satisfied unless all of his cars are at their finest and mechanically at the top standard. This Triumph was no exception and mechanical upgrades include an oversized aluminum radiator with a 16″ electric cooling fan, a new temp/speed controller and Pertronix electronic ignition. The brakes have been fully serviced and new CV shafts, hubs and bearings were installed along with all suspension parts being serviced as required. This has resulted in an excellent running and driving, very fun automobile that could easily endure a “jump in and drive cross-country” road trip.
