Bought new from McClure-Norrington Chevrolet in Kansas City Missouri, this remarkable time capsule has a 235 six cylinder engine and three speed column shifted manual transmission. Options are AM radio, dual exterior mirrors and added rear fender skirts. Documented low original miles and a six cylinder engine with a manual transmission, could make this the rarest 1962 Impala in existence
When it comes to collector cars, most enthusiasts search out the more desirable ones, convertibles, two door hardtops and those with bucket seats, console floor shift transmissions and the most horsepower. But others take a more conservative route, looking for the lesser model with little or no options, and the least horsepower engine available, this is one of those cars.
Bought new from McClure-Norrington Chevrolet in Kansas City Missouri, this remarkable time capsule has very few pampered miles from new. A four door sedan Impala, with all correct and original trim, it’s finished in Autumn Gold with beautiful red cloth/Vinyl upholstery. Equipped with the lowest horsepower engine available, the 235 cubic inch 135hp six cylinder engine and three speed column shifted manual transmission. Options are scarce, AM radio, dual exterior mirrors and added rear fender skirts.
Documented low original miles and a six cylinder engine with a manual transmission, could mean this is the rarest 1962 Impala in existence…
