This 1959 Nash Metropolitan Hardtop Coupe #5236 was obtained by its previous owner in 2013 from a couple who had held long term ownership of the car since 1972. (over 41 years) Upon this recent transfer, it was decided to fully restore the vehicle to its full potential. Over the following two years much of this special Nash coupe was restored to a very high level!

The original engine was rebuilt, along with the suspension and brakes to provide a comfortable and safe ride.

The exterior of this motorcar received spectacular Apple Green with White paint. Brightwork, chrome, glass, and all minor details are presented in wonderful condition.

The interior was refinished and restored with black and white leatherette leaving a classic feel and simplified elegance to the cabin.

The cost of restoration alone totalled $36,000 ($27,411 USD) with all invoices and paperwork included to prove. The value of restoration does not include the price of this cherished motorcar!

The quality of the restoration and mechanical work was immediately tested once completed, over a 1,500-mile trek back home between Moscow, Idaho and Tucson Arizona. The vehicle performed exactly as expected with no issues. Upon return the vehicle has been stored in a climate controlled environment until its most recent sale to the current owner.
