Here is your opportunity to own a brand new 1952 Chevrolet Pickup truck. This beautiful truck has been built entirely with off the shelf new items, no donor truck was needed. Basis for the truck is a GLA pickup truck shell attached to a handmade Fat Man boxed chassis. The chassis is a replica of the original equipment chassis, but boxed with additional cross braces for the ultimate in strength. A brand-new 350/335 hp GM crate motor with a R400 transmission supply the power.
The suspension consists of a Shockwave Air Ride adjustable suspension while the chrome steering column is from ididit. Front suspension is Mustang polished stainless tubular control arms with power rack and pinion unit and front sway bar. A Ford 9 inch differential with 3.55 gears was selected. Rear suspension is a polished stainless four link air ride suspension. Four piston power Wilwood brakes do the stopping chores, vented discs on all four corners, 225/55/17 tires are mounted to American racing 17×8 polished alloy Hopster wheels. The exhaust system consists of stainless headers attached to twin 409 SS series Flow Master mufflers.
Finished in Mazda protégé yellow paint, with custom molded door panels, molded headliner and custom bench seat finished in two toned yellow and black leather sets off the interior of this vehicle. Dakota Digital Gauges compliment the dash, a small leather sports steering wheel completes the black, chrome, and yellow interior motif. The pickup bed in this vehicle is oak planks with chrome rails. Four coats of marine stain and six coats of varnish have been applied to the Oak planking. Custom quick fill fuel tank. Chrome rear view mirrors, chrome hood ornaments, chrome grill and chrome running boards adorn the body. Yes…..that is Chip Foose’s autograph on the dash of this unit as he signed it at the Atlantic Car Show in Moncton. Vehicle has under 3000 total kilometers on it to date.
