Less than seven thousand assembled for the entire world and just 500 set aside for the Canadian market. That’s right, a car made in Canada and only five hundred were slated for this market! The car offered here is number 377 of the 500 and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Very few kilometres have been driven and it appears and functions almost as new. When the Challenger model was brought back in 2008, Dodge didn’t want the storied nameplate returning in a watered down fashion and therefore, the first group were limited production and only available in SRT8 form. SRT stoof for “Street and Racing Technology” and models bearing those letters meant the owners could rest assured there was something special under the hood. In this case, it is a 6.1L Hemi with 425 advertised horsepower. Dodge also made sure the rest of the car was worthy and SRT models could handle and brake the way a high performance car should. The limited production of these 2008 Challenger SRT8 coupes meant that less than seven thousand were assembled for the entire world. Of that number, just 500 were set aside for the Canadian market.
