This 1936 Ford street rod has been carefully assembled in the finest traditions of hot rodding. Beginning with a steel five window coupe body which was refinished in a gleaming black with a red pin stripe for accent. The body was placed on an original 36 frame which was rebuilt and boxed where necessary. The frame was then also refinished with a high end paint job. The interior was completely refurbished in rich red and uses bucket seats from a 2005 Mustang. It features a rumble seat just like it should. A new windshield along with new side glass was installed. The original steel dash has been customized and refinished in black. It uses modern Classic gauges along with a Vintage air conditioner with heat and defrost. Electric wipers and radio using an EZ wiring setup complete the interior. The fuel injected 5.0 liter HO V8 is backed by an automatic transmission and drives a rebuilt Ford 8.5 rearend. In the front will be found a Mustang II suspension which was rebuilt in 2017, along with new coilovers, a new power rack, new cross member and new upper and lower A-arms. The rear suspension has new springs and shocks and there is also a new fuel tank and new exhaust installed. Power steering, power brakes and power windows are featured and it all rolls on BF Goodrich wide whitewall tires mounted to baby moons highlighted by red pin striping. The trim rings also boast a red pin stripe and there is a mock spare. A fantastic build that would be hard to dulpicate.
