This Continental is a very fine example, one of only 201 originally built in 1946. Finished with a handsome maroon exterior and a tan power-operated cloth top, the Continental is accented by fog lights, dual rear-view mirrors, and appropriately, a “Continental” spare tire kit. Wide whitewall tires and painted steel wheels with bright hubcaps and trim rings complete the look. The handsome Art Deco-inspired interior is period correct in presentation, and features rich, red leather upholstery, as well as the factory-installed radio, heater and clock. The current owner reports that over $20,000 has been invested in mechanical work, including a complete rebuild of the V12 engine. Equipped with a three-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, this handsome continental will provide an open-air driving experience to match its classic styling.
