One of the great things about investing in a classic car must surely be the stories. Almost every collector car has a great story and this awesome Corvette is no exception.
The story as reported is that in the early 70’s the original owner of this 1972 Corvette decided to get it repainted for reasons lost to time. Also for reasons unknown, he never returned to pick it up and after sitting in the back of the paint shop for many years, the shop finally established a garage lien enabling them to resell the car.
