14,000 ACTUAL MILES!! Orignial paint, interior, and engine, which has never been detailed. Factory air conditioning, “His & Hers” Hurst shifter, bucket seats, console, disc brakes. PHS documentation. A true “Survivor”.

First offered in 1964 as an optional package on the Pontiac Tempest, the GTO is widely considered Detroit’s first muscle car. While its first iteration carried a 389 cubic inch V8, by 1968, standard equipment included a 400 cubic inch power plant, producing 350 horsepower with a four-barrel carburetor. A handsome new body featured the famous “Endura” front bumper, and a long hood, with a sloping roofline and short rear deck. Standard dual exhausts, sport suspension, and twin hood scoops enhanced the performance-oriented image.

An incredible, one-of-a-kind example, the GTO pictured here has accumulated just under 14,000 original miles. It has been documented by the Pontiac Historical Society, and retains its original paint, interior, and engine, which has never been detailed. Other desirable features include a “His and Hers” Hurst shifter for the three-speed Hydra-Matic transmission, bucket seats, console, factory air conditioning that blows cold, as well as power steering and power disc brakes.

This 1968 GTO is a true “survivor”. With its desirable equipment and options, as well as PHS documentation, we anticipate strong interest in this legend.
