7,800 miles (since complete build). An extremely special, complete ground up resto-mod, built with Tier-1 level specifications, great care and attention to detail, all overseen and participated in by a previous long-term top level custodian and NCRS judge! Nearly 1,500 man hours were believed dedicated to this very special Corvette C1, to create the ultimate “resto-mod”! Power comes from a NEW LS3 6.2 liter V8 376 c.i. crate motor producing 430 horsepower. Automatic 4-Speed GM 4l 60E transmission. Rear end is D44. Gear ratio is 4:07. A complete custom build including: Billy Dawson new custom Corvette correction chassis (#232) of Sequin Texas, Lokar shifter, complete custom Al Knoch* brand new interior, turquoise cloth *Al Knoch soft top. The body: professionally removed from the chassis, stripped, painted, and installed by Vette Works Canada, and presents with incredibly laser-straight panels, crisp and clean correct panel gaps. The firewall has been smoothed. Inner fenders and undercarriage painted body colour. There are no wires or hoses visible under the hood. Brand new KYB HD shocks installed. HD fiberglass rear springs. Ceramic coated exhaust manifolds, Magnaflow mufflers and exhaust installed. Z06 style 18-inch chrome wheels. 2-speed electronic wipers, ABS power disc brakes. Fresh exterior chrome. The interior: including custom auto sound radio speakers with MP3 player and USB dock (looks like wonderbar radio). The seats, carpet and trunk were custom made and stitched by Trim Tect.
