Many improvements such as four wheels hydraulic drum brakes, 12 volt electrics with alternator, tinted glass, electric turn signals and steel bed with oak subfloor. Mercury 255 flathead V8 with Offenhauser heads and intake, Edelbrock carb and Fenton headers w/dual exhaust, three speed manual transmission, Stewart Warner gauges, original banjo steering wheel, 15″ wire spoke wheels, correct V8 hub caps, trim rings and wide white radial tires.

Many desirable improvements were done on this truck when it was restored, such as four wheels hydraulic drum brakes, 12 volt electrics with alternator charging, tinted glass, electric turn signals and all steel bed with oak subfloor. The best modification is the drive-train, a rebuilt Mercury 255 cubic inch flathead V8 topped with Offenhauser polished aluminum heads and intake, Edelbrock carburetor and Fenton headers w/dual exhaust. The chassis including the three speed manual transmission, differential and rigid convertible frame were sourced from a 1940 Ford. Finished in dark grey with black fenders, it features flawless black upholstery complimented with Stewart Warner gauges and original banjo steering wheel.
