Kept in climate controlled since extensive restoration. This excellent Skyliner is 1 out of 12915 made in 1959. It has had a very extensive frame off restoration with every part, nut, bolt and screw either rebuilt, re-plated or replaced to factory original. Since its restoration, it has been kept in a climate controlled environment inside a dust free storage bubble. This Skyliner is restored to be strictly a show piece but it is very drivable. Everything was done with the next owner in mind, to be able to drive anywhere. It features a 292 V8 in front of the FM2 Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission and is equipped with Polarair air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, power seat, power windows, padded dash, windshield washers, electric wipers, back-up lights, bumper guards, bumper extenders (clamshells), rocker moldings, chrome skirts and continental spare tire carrier. This amazing convertible has won Best of Show and Peoples Choice awards two years in a row at the All Ford Nationals in Forth Worth, Texas. Also two years running, it has won Best Restored Original at Daryl Starbirds Rod and Custom Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
