Factory equipped with four speed manual transmission and treated to a no-expense-spared frame-off restoration by the renowned Thornton Brothers of Telford Pa. Glass-like laser-straight paint and gleaming chrome. Interior, engine bay and undercarriage have also been professionally and correctly detailed, right down to the T3 headlamps. 400 V8, with correct C-Type heads and open-element air cleaner (correct for 4-speed equipped 442’s.)

The Olds was treated to a no-expense-spared frame-off restoration by the renowned Thornton Brothers of Telford Pa., and in addition to the obvious glass-like laser-straight paint finish and beautiful gleaming brightwork, the interior, engine bay and undercarriage have also been professionally and correctly detailed, right down to the T3 headlamps. The 400 cubic inch V8, with correct C-Type heads and open-element air cleaner (correct for 4-speed equipped 442’s), is coupled to an M-21 close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission. 442’s came equipped with heavy duty springs, boxed rear control arms with rear sway bar, dual exhaust with chrome tips, unique grille and headlight doors, various 442 insignias . . . and this 442 retains all of them. Having won First Place at the Oldsmobile meet in Scottsdale Arizona and First Place at the Muscle Car Shootout at World of Wheels in Calgary 2018, this example is without question . . . .
