This professional restoration included a glass-like paint finish applied to a laser straight body. In addition, the restoration included a highly detailed engine bay, undercarriage and interior all detailed to concours quality standards. This “stunning” example does not only look virtually flawless, but it has been well-sorted mechanically as well, resulting in a 40’s era car that drives like it just came off the showroom floo

Ford built an early reputation for making reliable cars that the everyman could afford but by 1940 they were doing it with body styles that were as good looking as they were practical.
This 1940 Coupe must surely be one of the nicest ones to be found anywhere. This outstanding coupe was treated to a spectacular nut & bolt rotisserie restoration with a careful eye to detail. The wide whitewall tires contrast perfectly with the dark blue swooping body panels. Underhood you’ll find the highly regarded Ford Flathead V8 with all components appearing original down to the braided wiring. A three speed column shifted manual transmission is still in place as it should be. The interior retains the art deco styling and stock style gauges with all appearing as new. One of The Finest in the World!!!
