A very good example of a rare Surrey Top TR4A. Surrey Top cars had a removable soft cloth section which covered the gap between the windshield and backlight. Utilizing a hard rear portion to house the backlight, the Surrey Top cars had a removable soft cloth section which covered the gap between the windshield and backlight. When the cloth “Surrey” portion is removed, it gives these seldom seen roadsters a look quite similar to a style that eventually became known as a Targa roof. Powered by 2138 cc four cylinder engine with dual carburetors with a four speed manual transmission.
