With massive tailfins, the 59 Cadillac was instantly recognizable and the list of standard equipment was all you would expect from a luxury car and this one is no exception. It has a 390 V8 engine, automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, reverse lights, two speed wipers, full wheel covers, vanity mirror and exterior mirror. Additionally, it has air conditioning, power seat, power windows, and a white painted steel roof.

There are many who assert that the 1948 Cadillac began the styling trend of adding tail fins to cars. If so, it is perhaps fitting that the 1959 model arguably ended that trend by adding fins which were so imposing as to cause the other automakers to shrink away from the trend. Rising taller than ever above the rear flanks and sporting the twin bullet style taillamps on each, they made the Cadillac car instantly recognizable wherever it was. The list of standard equipment was every bit as full as you expect from a luxury make and the extraordinary one here is no exception. It has the 390 V8 engine, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, reverse lights, two speed wipers, full wheel covers, vanity mirror and exterior mirror. Additionally, this one has air conditioning, power seat, power windows and a white painted steel roof
