1939 was the first model year for Mercury and it was an instant hit with the introduction of the 239 cubic inch “100” V8. That engine, along with a 3.54:1 rear axle ratio resulted in a car that was able to cruise comfortably down the highway and still get pretty good fuel mileage. This car has been restored to V8 concourse specs and features a LeBaron-Bonney leather interior, cloth top, working radio and heater.
