This rare “7-Up” Mustang LX is finished in Deep Emerald Green with a white leather interior. The 5.0 litre V8 runs smooth and works in conjunction with an automatic transmision. The car overall has been very well kept through the years and would be a great addition to any collection.

In 1990, 7-Up teamed with Ford to launch a promotional event with the NCAA College Basketball Championship (March Madness). The idea was that if you sank a ball from center court, you won a car. At the last minute, the promotion was cancelled but Ford decided to release the cars on their own. All of the “7-Up” Mustangs were LX convertibles and each was green with white interior. All were V8 powered and received the 15 inch GT style wheels and the Special Value Package which consisted of cruise control, air conditioning and premium sound system. Slightly more than 4,000 were assembled and 2,743 of them came with automatic transmission. The “7-Up” nickname has stuck with the cars to this day among Mustang collectors even though the cars were no longer officially a part of any ad campaign by the soft drink maker.
