This beautiful Mercury was sold new in Denver Colorado then migrated to sunny California where it spent much of its life before being imported to Canada in 2012. The car is equipped with p/steering, p/brakes, p/top, automatic transmission, dual mirrors, dual exhaust, www radial tires mounted on wire wheels, fender skirts and Stayfast top. The original radio is still in place and the car has been additionally fitted with an under-dash modern radio. This stunning Merc was treated to a frame-on restoration a few years ago being refinished in Glamour Tan and still remains in great condition today. The car is rated good-to-excellent overall and although the chrome is very nice for the most part, there is some pitting evident on some of the components on close examination and some very minor dents were evident in the right-front fender molding. The paint and interior are very nice and the steering wheel exhibits some fine hairline cracks which is common on many fifties cars. The side glass is original and in excellent condition with factory etched Ford stamps present and the windshield has been replaced with a new unit. The convertible top is in beautiful condition and the back window is clear. The car runs and drives great, idles smoothly and transmission shifts well.
This solid rust-free Mercury is a very good honest example that would be a pleasure to drive either in the city or out on the open highway.
