From the association with California surf culture in the 60’s to the highest level of automotive concours d’elegance, the uniquely American wood panelled wagons have maintained a huge following of dedicated collectors. This outstanding original example has had only proper cosmetic maintenance over the years. Once part of the renowned Nick Alexander Ford Woody Collection in California, it was never rusted and has the original factory undercoating. Original wood is exceptional with just the proper patina. Given the original and basic unrestored condition of the car, the paint-chrome-interior would be described as in fair-to-good condition with various paint imperfections and aged brightwork with pitting of the diecast chrome components and the back glass is noticeably scratched. Equipped with a smooth running flathead engine with 3 speed overdrive transmission and the car drives beautifully.
