This stunning T-Bird, originally from California, was restored by a well-known Thunderbird expert with a focus on quality and authenticity. It has been refinished in the original shade of Golden Glow Yellow with black & white interior, as per the codes on the data plate. It is a fresh body-off-the-frame restoration, just completed, and once the body was removed, the frame was completely stripped down and powder-coated. During this time, the engine and transmission were completely rebuilt, the brakes are new and the front end has been rebuilt with new parts. New tires, exhaust and tires were also installed. Virtually all the chrome has either been replated or replaced and the stainless moldings have been polished. In addition to the new interior, a black Stayfast top has been fitted to the car. The undercarriage, interior, engine bay and trunk are correctly and highly detailed, even the bumper jack was restored. In addition to being a southern rust-free car, it is also nicely equipped with options including power steering, power brakes, power seat, Town & Country radio, automatic transmission, porthole hardtop, black cloth soft top, engine dress-up kit, backup lamps, windshield washers, fender skirts, wide whitewall tires and wire basket wheel covers. You would be hard-pressed to find fault with this high-quality restoration.
