This 1968 Mercury Montego MX Convertible is 1 of only 3,200 built and maybe only half of those were like this one, 4-spd manual with center console. Very very rare car. Same owner for 40 years. Local Toronto car purchased from Evans Ford on Bloor and has original bill of sale to go with it plus other original paper work. Car is all original,and was lightly restored by current owner in 2010 (new floor pans, body refreshed and re-painted in midnight blue and new soft top installed) Mechanically, car is in great condition and has been well taken care of. The power top works great and its had a recent oil and filter service. Pre-restoration photos available as well. Car runs strong, original 302 motor. Many extra parts included with the car (e.g. bumpers, extra windshield, extra convertible top, etc.). Installed discrete CD/MP3 player in glove box and speakers under seats.
