Chevrolet knew in the early 50’s that market perception to pickup trucks was changing. True to their reputation as market leaders, they redesigned the look of their pickup line for 1955 to reflect the changing attitude. Cabs and front sheet metal were styled with less accent on utility and more on appearance than in the past.
