1910 Ford Model T Pickup serial # 20007 . Originally offered as a plain Ford chassis without body. Many “aftermarket “companies started to offer bodies for Ford. This particular example has Coach work by the John R Lipton & Son Company of New Bedford, Massachusetts . Originally sold in New England in 1910 it made its way to the Rochester, NY area . Its’ 4 cylinder 22 horsepower Model T Ford motor is coupled to its famous semi-automatic planetary transmission making its 2 speed operation smooth and quiet .Over many years in service it was used very sparingly. As was often the case it had its mechanical upgrades but always retained its original early style frame and coachwork. Its most recent restoration was completed in 2019 with new woodwork and fresh black leather diamond tufted upholstery on its original horsehair stuffed seat. New black smooth treaded tires are now mounted on its original round fellow wood wheels pinstriped in gold. New authentic 1910 fenders and sheet metal are fitted to suit and mechanically it is in excellent condition. The T is easy to operate and fun to drive. Brass headlamps and windshield contrast its original Carmine red colour and black tires. The earliest of Ford’s light commercial offerings and grandfather of the Ford F-150 .
