A lot of effort went into the build of this classic Pickup with emphasis on making it very drivable as well as having a Show-Truck appearance. The original Y-Block has been replaced with a later-model small block Ford V8 with automatic transmission. Even better drivability was achieved with the addition of power rack & pinion steering and power disc brakes. The free-flowing dual exhaust leaves the engine through a set of headers and exits on both sides of the truck through double chrome exhaust tips, and sounds throaty, but not intrusive. The cab and cargo box are steel and the fenders are fiberglass and inspection of the undercarriage revealed a solid chassis with no corrosion issues evident. The two-tone paint has some minor chips, but not many (pictured), and has a stunning overall appearance with nice shine. The chrome is rated good-excellent and in our opinion, the grille should be replaced or re-chromed to improve the overall appearance. The chrome wheels are in excellent condition and appear new. The interior has been nicely appointed with leather bucket seats with arm rests, a floor shifter, new headliner and a set of Dolphin gauges that appear in working order. The glass is in good condition and it appears that the windshield has been replaced, the side glass and rear sliding window glass have been tinted, the vent window glass appears to be original and shows slight signs of delamination near the edges of the glass. There are numerous options and features on this beautiful pickup including the aforementioned power steering & disc brakes, but also power windows which utilize the original window cranks as p/w switches and the door windows go up & down smoothly and rapidly. In addition, the truck is equipped with sliding rear glass, an aftermarket stereo system, power hard tonneau cover which is electrically operated with the flip of a switch, high intensity headlights, Ford-scripted tail light lenses with blue-dots, forward-tilting hood, banjo steering wheel and tilt steering column.
