Although this attractive Monterey Convertible appears stock, the car has been skillfully fitted with a late-model 302 Lincoln engine and automatic overdrive transmission for enjoyable cruising and a floor-mounted shifter. It also features p/steering, p/brakes, p/top, clock, radio, Stayfast top. The car was frame-off restored 4-5 years ago with new paint, chrome, interior, convertible top and tires. Inspection revealed that the car is in good-to-excellent overall condition with very straight stainless body side moldings and a very nice interior with beautiful seat upholstery and door panels. A Ford Motor Company Fiftieth Anniversary emblem is in place on the dash. A quick stab of the starter button and the car started up immediately, idled very smoothly and the car runs and drives very well.
