This amazing all steel Ford Deluxe is not only a very desirable three window coupe, it is also a low mile survivor! Retaining most of its original paint and interior, it has had just three owners in 70 years. The first owner used it for just 27,000 miles. The second owner, despite having it in his care for more than 40 years, drove it a mere 10,000 miles. Today, it shows slightly over 37,000 miles and the incredible condition of this 221 flathead V8 powered coupe attests to this. The car runs and drives well and performs as expected for a low-mile original. Highly optioned for the day, the equipment list includes a factory radio, heater, clock, banjo steering wheel, full fender skirts, dual exterior mirrors, wide whitewall tires, spyder hubcaps, front and rear bumper guards, locking fuel cap and chrome exhaust deflector. The original paint has been polished over the years and still looks amazing. The interior is in good condition especially given the fact that it is over 80 years old and understandably, is showing some signs of age. The steering wheel shows signs of age and there is slight delamination evident on the edges of the original glass. It’s often repeated in the collector car hobby that they are only original once and this is a once in a lifetime chance to purchase such an original 38 Ford.
