The Mercury Eight had existed for a short time as a model before production ended due to WWII. That short time however was long enough to establish the Mercury as a highly desirable car. One of the qualities that made it so popular was the flathead V8 engine under the hood and this spectacular sedan coupe model still has that proven engine. Not hot rodded as so many were, this one has been lovingly cared for during its existence.
