This excellent 36 Ford features a large number of options such as dual mirrors, clock in mirror, Ford fog lights, Ford exhaust tip, dual exterior mirrors, wide whitewall tires with chrome wheelcovers, tan Haartz cloth top with matching boot, and that perennial favourite, the rumble seat. The flathead V8 starts effortlessly, performs extremely well and runs smoothly even at highway speeds.

Coming off the previous year’s fresh restyling, which saw Ford best arch-rival Chevrolet in the sales race, Ford wisely chose to limit changes to its 1936 model. One change was the addition of a cabriolet model with its full framed windshield and convertible top. The excellent example here features a large number of options such as dual mirrors, clock in mirror, Ford fog lights, Ford exhaust tip, dual exterior mirrors, wide whitewall tires with chrome wheelcovers, tan Haartz cloth top with matching boot, and that perennial favourite, the rumble seat. The flathead V8 starts effortlessly and upon starting, the engine idles as smooth as silk. Driving the car, one finds that it performs extremely well and runs smoothly even at highway speeds. This wonderful automobile has been treated to a body off restoration including the refinishing of the floor pans under the car.
