New paint in 2012, all chrome and trim intact, interior restored in high quality red vinyl. Interior benefits from a great working Golden Jane Tube radio and clock. The rear view mirror is on the padded dash. All interior and exterior lights work including the Electroluminescent dash. Trunk is newly lined, complete with spare and tire cover. Original 361 Golden Lion engine with Torqueflite push button automatic transmission.

Beautiful and rare hardtop that has been completely refurbished. Runs beautifully and floats like a cloud going down the highway. New paint in 2012 – white with red dimple, all chrome and trim intact, interior restored in high quality red vinyl channelling as the factory option. Interior benefits from a great working Golden Jane Tube radio and clock. The rear view mirror is on the padded dash. The 1961 Chryslers also featured the futuristic Astrodome steering column and Electroluminescent intrument panel lighting- two amazing features that must be seen. Worth mentioning is that all interior and exterior lights work and that includes the Electroluminescent dash (a feature only offered from 1961 to 1962 in the Chrysler line). First year of only two years Chrysler had slanted headlights (used 1961-1962). Trunk is newly lined and complete with spare and tire cover. The engine is the original 361 Golden Lion and uses a Torqueflite push button automatic transmission. Dual exhaust, red air breather, red plug wires and electronic ignition are the only non original additions. New tires in 2012. Last and biggest year for Chryslers fins, flight sweep trunk lid. Winner of 3 trophies in the last 5 years. Used by professional photographer for engagement/wedding pictures. Includes 5 Chrysler service manuals for 1961.
