A very nicely done replica of a 1901 Oldsmobile, this horseless carriage uses the drivetrain from a Harley-Davidson golf cart. The builder got the plans from the September 1960 issue of Mechanix Illustrated and worked at it off and on for over forty years before finally completing it. The expected real wood coachwork, brass lanterns, spoked wheels and tiller steering it give it an air of nostalgia. The comparatively modern powerplant with forward and reverse make it easy and fun to drive. It will be sold to the highest bidder at NO RESERVE!!
