This extensively restored Impala had the body removed from the frame in 1986. While the frame was sandblasted and painted, the body was also prepped and refinished with completion in 1987. The car was then reassembled in 2015 with mechanical work completed in such areas as brakes, cooling system, electrical harness, plus all of the interior including the headliner, carpet and insulation.
