This beautiful two tone Gypsy Red and Shoreline Beige Bel Air had its rust free body expertly prepped and refinished using base coat/ clear coat paint for a deep lustre. Powered by a rebuilt 327 V8 with Edelbrock aluminum intake and carb as well as many dress up items. It features headers into a dual exhaust and a Hurst shifted four speed manual transmission spinning a refurbished rear axle.
The frame off restoration allowed for replacing the steering, suspension and brake components where needed and the brakes were upgraded to front disc with a dual master cylinder system. The tires are mounted to original steel wheels with excellent stainless steel wheelcovers.
The interior has correct red vinyl with beige cloth inserts with added period correct seat belts. The side panels and headliner have all been replaced. The instrumentation works and is supplemented by underdash gauges. An aftermarket air conditioner with under dash vents can be found and there is an Audiovox AM/FM/Cassette.
Bright work appears as new with many components either replaced or replated. Accessories include front bumper corner guards, grille guard, rocker panel moulding, rear fender skirts, twin mirrors, and rear bumper mounted spare.
