This outstanding Road Runner has seen just two careful owners from new and has travelled only 69,000 original miles in the last 47 years. A well appointed example complete with the original numbers matching hi performance 383 cubic inch V8. The strong engine has plenty of torque and is mated to the original (and optional by 1970) four speed manual transmission which is managed by the iconic Pistol Grip shifter. The high quality professional refinish is in the original colour of "EF8" Ivy Green Metallic. At the time of the restoration, the owner decided to add the correct and authentic Air Grabber hood with an original air box, breather and the vacuum operated mechanicals to operate the scoop. He even went as far as applying the correct black out hood striping and hood pins. The exceptional and all original tri tone interior is a great indicator of the fanatical care both owners gave this important Mopar. Well appointed, this Road Runner features power steering, power front disc brakes, four speed manual transmission with Hurst Pistol Grip shifter, added Air Grabber hood with hood mounted turn signal indicators, all original tri tone deluxe interior, tic-toc-tach, AM radio and the "beep-beep" Road Runner horn. This highly detailed example is show quality thoughout, including all Road Runner characteristics such as the "Dust Trail' side stripe and Road Runner bird decals. A documented 2 owner 69,000 original mile Road Runner that is an absolute dream to drive and is one of those cars that is a "looker" and a "doer", driving as good as it looks. Complete with original owners manual, purchase contract and broadcast sheet. This B-body is as comfortable in the show field winners circle as it is pounding asphalt on a highway tour.
