1970 Plymouth 'Cuda 440 Convertible

Auctioned on Saturday, April 30, 2016

Sold at $71,500

  • Engine Displacement: 440
  • Transmission: Automatic

An older restoration that has only seen 3000 miles in 30 years with a single owner for that entire time. NOM 440 Super Commando big block V8 engine backed by a Torqueflite automatic with "Slap Stik" shifter and optional console. This rare Plymouth also features full Rallye gauges with tachometer, pedal dress up trim and woodgrain steering wheel. Rocker mouldings, hood pins, rear deck lid spoiler, Road Lamps, Cuda Power Bulge hood, Magnum 500 styled steel wheels along with a billboard style stripe featuring engine callout complete the exterior. This is a real 'Cuda convertible that has been oil sprayed every year. Only 28 Cuda convertibles with a 440 automatic were ever made. With the even rarer Hemi and Six Pack convertibles skyrocketing in price, it can only be expected that the 440 four barrel versions will follow. This could realistically be your only chance to buy one.
