A former solid-bodied Florida car, this is easily one of nicest woody wagons you will ever see. This desirable early V8 Ford was treated to a professionally nut & bolt body-off restoration to high quality standards. In fact the quality of the car drew an invitation for it to participate on the show field at the 2018 Cobble Beach Concours D’Elegance. Paint, chrome, and interior are all excellent and the undercarriage has been detailed as well. It is powered by a 221 Flathead V8 backed by a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive. The car starts easily and idles smoothly. The transmission shifts with ease and this 39 Ford stops and steers just as it should. An 8 passenger car with new interior, it is also equipped with a factory radio, factory clock and banjo steering wheel. The exterior features a vintage roof rack, dual spotlights, optional “spider” hubcaps, wide whitewall tires and dual exhaust with chrome tips. The wood fits tightly and has been properly refinished.
