Photos and condition report prepared by CCP Auctions
Until the Model T was first introduced in 1908, automobiles were mostly scarce, expensive, and often unreliable. By 1927 Henry Ford watched the 15 millionth Model T roll off the assembly line in Highland Park Michigan. The Model T was Ford’s first automobile mass-produced on moving assembly lines with completely interchangeable parts, marketed to the middle class. The Model T has a front-mounted 177 cu.in. inline 4-cylinder engine capable of running on gasoline, kerosene or ethanol and producing 20hp for a top speed of 45mph.
This vehicle has had an electric ignition and fuel pump added for convenience of starting and running. It is mechanically sound. The interior is in excellent condition in grey cloth. The black exterior is polished to a high lustre and has a shine that appears a mile deep, however upon close inspection, the body exhibits a few minor imperfections and paint cracking on all 4 fenders. The front windshield is scratched in places as is the rear window. Tires are like new and wheels appear straight and true. The trunk is clean and contains a custom fitted car cover. The car is a lot of fun to drive and runs exceptionally well.
