1 of 129 with 440 Six Barrel and automatic. This low vin sequence car is reported to be one of seven specially equipped Cudas used for manufacturer auto shows to promote new lines and features. As such, it has been highly optioned with almost every feature Chrysler offered. Car includes original fender tags (two tag car), broadcast sheet, copies of titles of previous owners. Numbers matching engine. Full binder available for serious buyers.

By 1971, the entire musclecar phenomenon that had come of age during the Sixties was now coming to a rapid halt. Exhorbitant insurance costs among other concerns were causing most automakers to step back sharply from offering and promoting high performance models. Arguably the last to give up on the bold image and extreme horsepower Chrysler still offered its supercars and this extremely rare 1971 Cuda 440+6 is an ideal example. As a freshly restyled car the year before, the 71 stuck to minor changes such as a slight taillight difference, fender “gills” on the high performance models and a one year only quad headlight with “toothed” grille. Significantly, the mighty 440 with six barrel carburetion was still available and presented here is just such a car. A genuine V-code 440 Six Barrel Cuda, this is 1 of 129 with automatic transmission. Very highly optioned, this Cuda is finished in its orginal Hi-Impact shade of GY3 Curious Yellow. It also wears the so called billboard side stripes with 440+6 callouts to ensure no one ignores the car. It has the very rare body coloured front and rear elastomeric bumpers with front chin spoilers, decklid mounted Go Wing spoiler and rear window louvers. Hood pins keep the Shaker hood in place and a black vinyl top provides contrast to the bright yellow paint. This Cuda also has a console mounted cassette deck and am/fm radio, power disc brakes, electronic ignition, electronic voltage regulator, road lamps, hood mounted turn signal indicators, Rallye wheels, rocker moulding and dual sport mirrors. The black interior contains the Rallye gauges with tachometer and full intrumentation as well as a woodgrain steering wheel. Between the bucket seat is a console with Slapstick speed shifter. One of the rarest and most heavily equipped superstars from the musclecar golden age, this Cuda 440+6 is also one of the very best you will find anywhere. A true investment.
