A custom Pontiac with a number of updated parts beginning with a rebuilt 327 V8 smallblock with reconditioned heads. TH-350 automatic transmission from a 78 Chevy van and a 3.36 Posi rearend. Power steering with tilt wheel and power front disc brakes. Camaro front subframe with the larger sway bar from a Firebird and the wheels are 15 inch Trans Am rims. Electric wipers and an Alpine stereo in the very nice black interior. Stainless exhaust.

A custom Pontiac with a number of updated parts beginning with a rebuilt 327 V8 smallblock with reconditioned heads. The engine goes back to a TH-350 automatic transmission from a 78 Chevy van and a 3.36 Posi rearend. The power steering is controlled with a tilt steering column assembly and the power front disc brakes came from a 78 Camaro. Along with the Camaro front subframe, the larger sway bar from a Firebird was used and the wheels are 15 inch Trans Am pieces. A more modern electric wiper system was installed and this Star Chief also has an Alpine stereo in the very nice black interior. A stainless exhaust system keeps the noise down and all of it combines to present a better driving car with a classic 50’s look.
