This 1934 Ford Deluxe must surely be one of the very best ones left in the world. With wide whitewall tires mounted on wire wheels and a rear mounted spare with full tire cover, it also features a luggage rack. The flathead V8 starts effortlessly and runs smoothly. The complete restoration was thorough in every way with immaculate chrome, interior and top. The mechanicals operate correctly for an enjoyable investment that can be driven.
One of the most desirable and sought-after of all Early V8 Fords is the ’34 model which features factory “suicide doors” and the now-famous Flathead V8. This example has undergone an extensive body-off restoration resulting in what can be described as “elegance on wheels”. This Roadster not only looks amazing, but the flathead V8 runs as smooth as silk resulting in a complete package that can be shown or driven. As a matter of fact, this very example was invited to be shown at the 2017 Cobble Beach Concours D’Elegance. In addition to the aforementioned smooth-running flathead V8, it is also equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission, cowl lights, wind wings, luggage rack, rear-mounted spare, rare “double” wide whitewall tires (whitewalls on both inside and outside of tire) mounted on rare “chrome” wire wheels, greyhound rad mascot, Haartz cloth top with a full set of side curtains, rumble seat and even the etched glass is dated 1934!
