Assembled September 8, 1966 for the launch of the Camaro and sent to Central Chev Olds in London, Ontario, this numbers matching Rally Sport is believed to have been the showroom display car. Previously owned by Bobby Gould, former NHL player. Optioned with 327 V8, automatic, deluxe seat belts, floor console, am radio, deluxe interior and Rally Sport trim package.

This 1967 Camaro Rally Sport was assembled on September 8, 1966 in Norwood, Ohio for the launch of the now iconic Camaro. Received by Central Chev Olds in London, Ontario on September 23, 1966, this special car was there for the official Camaro launch on September 29th. In fact, this numbers matching Rally Sport is believed to have been the showroom display car at Central Chev Olds for that special day in automotive history. This rotisserie restored Camaro was also a feature car at the GM Sloan Museum in Flint, Michigan for the 50th Anniversary Celebration Car Show on June 24-25, 2017. This fabulous Camaro was also previously owned by Bobby Gould, former NHL player with both the Washington Capitals and the Boston Bruins. Bob is best remembered as the guy who broke Mario Lemieux’s jaw in a fight on March 20, 1987. Bobby purchased the car August 28th, 1985. Documentation from GM accompanies this car and shows it to be the 4,713th Camaro built and that it was optioned with the 327 V8 and 2 speed Powerglide transmission. It also came with deluxe seat belts, floor console, am radio, deluxe interior and of course, the Rally Sport trim package.
